Dani Murphy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Registered Nationally Certified Counselor with advanced certifications in neurofeedback, biofeedback, somatic experiencing, and brainspotting. She integrates these body-based, somatic practices to help clients heal trauma and restore mind-body awareness, supporting a deep, holistic process of recovery and resilience. Dani specializes in treating attachment disorders, abandonment, childhood emotional neglect, and complex trauma, with a particular focus on individuals navigating the intersection of trauma and neurodiversity, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her expertise lies in addressing the unique challenges faced by those with both trauma histories and neurodevelopmental conditions, providing tailored, trauma-informed care that embraces the whole person.
She utilizes trauma-focused therapeutic interventions to serve a diverse range of populations, blending EMDR with solutions-focused, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approaches. Dani earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and is currently completing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Capella University. Her commitment to helping clients create meaningful narratives throughout their wellness journeys reflects the holistic philosophy central to Refuel Life Trauma Center. Dani’s work aims to enhance hope and healing in the lives of individuals, children, couples, and families she supports.

Dr. Tamika Lynch is a resident in counseling and educator with over 22 years of experience in the helping
professions. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (2001) and Master of Education in
Counselor Education (2005) from Virginia State University and later completed her PhD in
Psychology at Grand Canyon University (2020).
Her clinical experience includes providing individual and group counseling services to diverse
populations, ranging from school-aged children with behavioral and emotional disorders to
adolescents and adults diagnosed with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
Dr. Lynch’s counseling approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
while also integrating Person-Centered and Mindfulness practices. She is passionate about
creating safe, judgment-free spaces where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and
experiences through a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship.
